The thought behind the Modular strategy is to create a level of efficiency we have not experienced yet in this company. By Modularizing tools, equipment, supplies, etc. into modular units that can be quickly identified and utilized allows for greater efficiency and quality of work, as well as the possibility of better work-life balance.

The initial push for the MS is going to focus on putting together basic tool kits that are effective while still remaining ‘Grabable’. Anything that adds to the bulk of the kit slows down the process and decreases the gains to be made using this system. The Kits will be carefully monitored and modified to offer the best use for our field techs. One way of looking at this would be kits inside of kits or boxes inside of boxes; meaning first take out the small box and then progress from there depending upon job requirements. Basic kit inside of advanced 1 kit inside of main electrical kit.
